October 7th, 2017 - Chandler Petty headed to Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Friday night for the 11th annual Gumbo Nationals. Drawing 35 Super Late Models for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) sanctioned weekend, Petty secured his spot into the $10,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday night with a 3rd place finish in his heat. Rolling off 11th, Chandler suffered a blown motor early that dropped him back to a 22nd place outing.

September 23rd, 2017 - Friday found Chandler Petty in action at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) for the annual Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100. With 42 Super Late Models on hand for the unsanctioned weekend, Petty logged a 9th place finish in his heat transferrin him into the B-Main for another shot at the $20,000-to-win A-Main. Sending the Top 4 into the show, Chandler edged his way with the 4th and final transfer position. Rolling off 24th, Chandler Petty gained two spots in the 100-lap affair recording a 22nd place finish.

September 16th, 2017 - Following the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Chandler Petty was one of 26 Super Late Models signed in at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) on Saturday evening for the inaugural Jim Kuntz Classic. Moving up two spots in his 10-lap heat race, Petty registered a runner-up finish behind Jack Sullivan positioning him 5th on the starting grid for the feature. September 9th, 2017 - Chandler Petty traveled to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday night for the Southern All Star Series sanctioned Governor’s Cup. Timing in fastest overall in his qualifying group, Chandler secured his spot into the $4,000-to-win A-Main. Starting in 2nd, Chandler fell three spots in the 40-lap affair to place 5th behind Spencer Hughes, Brian Rickman, Nick Thrash, and Morgan Bagley.

September 3rd, 2017- On Friday night Chandler Petty kicked off the three-night Labor Day Classic at Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas). Following the third fastest time in his qualifying group, Chandler landed a 2nd place finish in his heat behind B.J. Robinson locking him into the 6th-starting position for the opening night feature. With $3,000 on the line, Petty slipped back to a 13th place outing in the 35-lapper.

The following night with 19 Super Late Models on hand at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi), Petty passed two cars in his heat to pick up the 8-lap heat race victory. Chandler wrapped up the three-day CCSDS sanctioned weekend on Sunday at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Sunday for the $2,500 top prize. Laying down the fastest time overall in a field of 22 Super Late Models, Petty went on to capture a heat race win positioning him 2nd on the starting grid for the main event. After leading the first four laps, Chandler Petty suffered mechanical issues on lap 8 that ended his night.

August 26th, 2017- Saturday night brought Chandler Petty to Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana) for the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned contest. Holding his spot in his 10-lap heat race, Petty recorded a 4th place finish positioning him 12th on the starting grid for the $2,500-to-win A-Main. August 20th, 2017 - Chandler Petty made the trip to Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) on Friday night for the 25th annual Topless 100. With 41 Super Late Models on hand for the event co-sanctioned by the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS), Petty registered a 7th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main on Saturday night. After Mother Nature shifted back Saturday’s program to Sunday, Chandler came up three spots short of a transfer position with a 6th place outing.

August 5th, 2017 - Back with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Chandler Petty returned to Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas) on Friday night for the rescheduled event from a week ago. Following the seventh fastest time in a field of 18 cars, Petty scored a 3rd place finish in his heat race positioning him 7th on the starting grid for the $2,000-to-win A-Main. Bringing home a Top 5 finish, Chandler improved three spots in the 30-lapper to place 4th behind Billy Moyer Jr., Wendell Wallace, and Robert Baker with Scott Crigler coming in 5th. The following night Petty stopped at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) returning with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series. After timing in seventh fastest in his group, Chandler recorded a 5th place finish in his B-Main earning him the 17th-starting position for the feature. With $2,500 on the line, Chandler Petty jumped up five spots in the 50-lap affair registering a 12th place outing.

July 29th, 2017 - Friday night found Chandler Petty back with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) for the $2,000 top prize at Batesville Motor Speedway (Batesville, Arkansas). On Saturday Chandler headed to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) competing in a field of 19 Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) entries. Earning the 9th-starting position for the feature via preliminary events, Chandler worked his way into a podium spot until jumping the cushion, dropping him back to a 5th place finish behind Garrett Alberson, Brian Rickman, Michael Arnold, and Chad Thrash.

July 22nd, 2017- Chandler Petty returned with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) on Friday night for the pair of events at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi). Drawing 18 Super Late Models for the Midsummer Championship, Petty secured his spot into the Dash with the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group. Holding his spot for the entire distance of the Dash, Petty logged a 7th place finish positioning him 7th on the starting grid for the feature. Moving up one spot in the 40-lapper, Chandler posted a 6th place finish.

July 15th, 2017 - On Saturday night Chandler Petty returned with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) for the Rockabilly 45 at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas). July 2nd, 2017- Opening the Fourth of July weekend, Chandler Petty invaded Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Friday night for the COMP Camps Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned contest. Leading the night off with an 8-lap heat race win, Petty earned the 4th-starting position for the opening night feature. Holding his spot for all 35-laps, Chandler scored a 4th place finish behind Jack Sullivan, Robert Baker, and Robbie Stuart with Gavin Landers coming in 5th.

The following night with 23 Super Late Models registered in for battle at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi), Petty failed to qualify into the $2,500-to-win show via his heat race sending him into the B-Main. Recording a 5th place finish in the 8-lap consolation event, Chandler earned the 20th-starting spot for the feature. June 17th, 2017- After the weather reduced the two-day show to one night, Chandler Petty was one of 40 Super Late Models signed in at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Saturday for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned Clash at the Mag. Taking the Top 4 out of the heats, Petty logged a 8th place outing sending him into the B-Main for one final shot at the $20,000-to-win main event. Needing to place in the Top 3, Chandler came up two spots shy with a 5th place finish.

June 10th, 2017 - Behind the wheel of the Childress Fishing & Rental #R5 Super Late Model, Chandler Petty made the trip to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Saturday night for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series sanctioned contest. After falling one position short of locking his spot into the show via qualifying with the sixth fastest time in his group, Petty charged to a 10-lap consolation win securing his spot into the $2,500-to-win A-Main. With 50 laps to work his way to the front, Chandler dropped back to a 23rd place outing.

May 28th, 2017 - On Thursday night Chandler Petty headed to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Missouri) for the three-day Show-Me 100 weekend. With 67 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries registered in for action, Petty recorded a 9th place finish in his heat race giving him one more shot at the opening night Cowboy Classic A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Sending the Top 2, Chandler slipped back to a 11th place outing ending his night abruptly.

Returning on Friday night for the Tribute to Don & Billie Gibson, Petty landed a 6th place finish in his heat race transferring him into the B-Main. Needing to place 2nd or better to make the final $6,000-to-win preliminary feature, Chandler lost one spot in the 15-lap consolation event logging a 8th place finish.

After Saturday’s 25th annual Show-Me 100 was pushed back to Sunday afternoon, Chandler started 8th in his B-Main and needed to finish in the Top 2 to make the show. Falling short with a 12th place finish, Petty transferred into the Midwest Sheet Metal Show-Me Challenge for one last shot. Sending only the race winner into the $30,000-to-win finale, Chandler was collected behind a wreck late in the race ending his bid into the feature.

May 6th, 2017- Following the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Chandler Petty visited Diamond Park Speedway (Nashville, Arkansas) on Friday night to a field of 22 cars. Jumping up three spots in his heat race, Petty scored a 3rd place finish locking him into the 6th-starting spot for the opening night $2,000-to-win A-Main. Bringing home a Top 5 finish, Petty improved two positions in the 35-lapper notching a 4th place finish behind Jack Sullivan, Wendell Wallace, and Zach McMillan with Jon Mitchell coming in 5th.

The following night brought Petty to Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) for the $2,500 top prize. Starting the night off with a heat race win, Petty earned the 3rd-starting position for the A-Main. Battling in podium spot throughout the feature, Chandler landed a 3rd place finish when the checkered flag flew trailing Timothy Culp and Billy Moyer Jr. across the finish line with Jack Sullivan and Garrett Alberson completing the Top 5 finishers.

Registering a 3rd place finish in his heat race, Chandler earned the 9th-starting spot for the opening night feature. Moving up one position in the 35-lapper, Petty notched an 8th place finish.

March 26th, 2017- Running with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series, Chandler Petty was one 45 Super Late Models on hand at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Friday night. Losing one spot in his heat race, Petty logged a 6th place finish sending him into the B-Main with the 4th-starting position. Taking the Top 3, Chandler edged his way with the 3rd and final transfer position. With $10,000 on the line, Chandler fell one spot in the 50-lapper recording a 22nd place finish.

With the weather cancelling Saturday’s World of Outlaws show at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas), Petty made the trip to Lonestar Speedway (Kilgore, Texas) on Sunday for the $8,000-to-win A-Main. Following a 8th place finish in his heat, Chandler scored a 4th place finish in his B-Main locking him into the 22nd-strating position for the feature. March 18th, 2017
- On Friday night Chandler Petty visited Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) for the annual Pelican 50. Drawing 25 Super Late Models for the unsanctioned contest, Petty recorded a 4th place finish in his heat positioning him 10th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. With 50-laps to gain some ground, Chandler got caught behind another wreck on third lap bringing a disappointing end to his night.

The following night after working throughout the night to get his car back in shape to race, Petty headed to Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) for the season opener with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS). Coming short of a position into the dash after his fastest time in qualifying wasn't accepted, Petty edged his way into the A-Main with a 4th place finish in the B-Main. Starting in 20th for the $2,500-to-win A-Main, Chandler wheeled his way up to 8th until suffering issues with his transmission sending him back to a 14th pace finish

- Chandler Petty opened the 2017 season on Friday night by making the trek to Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Arizona) to compete in the final three rounds of the 11th Annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts. Powering the Childress Racing #R5 Super Late Model, Petty started his weekend off by setting the 4th fastest qualifying time in his group. Taking the Top 5 out of the heats, Chandler scored a 3rd place finish securing his spot into the $5,000-to-win A-Main. - Competing in a total of 25 events throughout the 2016 season, Chandler Petty reeled in 13 Top 10 finishes. With the weather affecting nine of his scheduled dates, Petty posted four Top 5 outings.

November 19th, 2016 - Heading south to Leesville 171 Speedway (Leesville, Louisiana), Chandler Petty was one of 26 Super Late Models signed in on Saturday night for the 2nd annual Bash on the Bayou. Bringing out a freshened motor in hot-laps, Petty was forced to pull in after two laps due engine issues. Battling under the hood to get everything fixed, Chandler missed his heat race but was able to get everything straightened out for the $3,000-to-win A-Main starting in 23rd. Coming one position short of a Top 5 outing, Chandler Petty stormed through the field 16 spots in the 40-lapper reeling in a solid 6th place finish.

November 5th, 2016 - Wrapping up the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) season, Chandler Petty visited Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) on Saturday for the All-American 50. With 33 Super Late Models signed in, Petty secured his way into the Dash with 3rd fastest time overall in qualifying. With the Dash results setting up the line-up for the $5,000-to-win A-Main, Chandler suffered a blown motor following qualifying preventing him from making it back out.

October 22nd, 2016 - Competing in the 22nd Annual Coors Light Fall Classic, Chandler Petty invaded Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) on Friday night for the unsanctioned weekend. In a field of 37 cars, Petty fell one position short of a transfer spot into the feature with a 5th place finish in his heat. Transferring into the B-Main for the one more shot at the $15,000-to-win A-Main on Saturday, Chandler streaked to a consolation win securing his spot into the main event. Losing three positions in the 100-lapper, Chandler Petty registered a 21st place outing.

September 24th, 2016 - Running in the Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100, Chandler Petty headed to Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Mississippi) on Friday for the two-day unsanctioned weekend. Drawing a stout field of 62 Super Late Models, Petty landed a 3rd place finish in his heat securing his spot into the $20,000-to-win main event on Saturday night. Before the race even was able to get underway, Petty failed to start to event due to a faulty ignition wire causing the loss of fuel pressure on the final pace lap.

September 4th, 2016
- Opening the three-night Labor Day Weekend with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Chandler Petty made the trip to Crowley’s Ridge Raceway (Paragould, Arkansas) on Fridday for the Labor Day Classic. With 33 Super Late Models signed in, Petty followed up the fastest time in qualifying with a dash victory putting him on the pole for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Saturday night brought 28 CCSDS Super Late Models to Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Arkansas) for a $2,500 top prize. Falling back to a 6th place finish in his heat, Chandler grabbed a transfer position in the B-Main. Starting in 19th, Petty dropped one position in 35-lapper logging a 20th place outing.

Wrapping up the action-packed weekend, Petty stopped at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Sunday for another chance at a $2,500 payday. After laying time the fastest time in his group, Chandler charged to another heat race win earning him the 2nd-starting spot for the feature. Looking to bring home his first victory of the season, Chandler Petty lost his power steering while running in 2nd sending him back to a 14th place finish.

- Making his way to a total of twenty-six events during the 2015 campaign, Chandler Petty picked up five top five finishes. With the rain determining the outcome of twelve of his scheduled dates, Chandler recorded sixteen top ten finishes on the season. He also finished eighth in the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) points standings.
