Brief History: Chandler raced Go-karts for 4 years. He started racing at Arkansas Motorsports Park, in Warren, AR then began racing on dirt tracks in Tennessee and Mississippi.

He started driving a Hobby Stock at Beebe Speedway, in Beebe, AR in 2010, where he finished 3rd in points for the year. At the end of the season, he started driving a Crate Late Model, in West Memphis, AR and Malden, MO.

In 2011 Chandler would have a breakout season in his Crate Late Model as he won nine features and finished eighth in the NeSmith Western division standings.

Petty struggled in 2012 as he was unable to secure a victory on only managed sevent top ten finishes on the season while competing at multiple events across the the region.

2013 saw Chandley scoring four victories, including a $2,000 payday at Poplar Bluff Speedway (Poplar Bluff, MO). He also earned seven top five finishes and seventeen top ten runs.

In 2014 Chandler would enjoy a stellar season while competing in both his Crate Late Model and select Super Late Model events. Petty scored seven victories at various tracks across the mid-south, and was the 2014 Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, AR) NeSmith Champion. Chandler ended his breakout season with an impressive seventeen top fives and twenty top ten finishes.

Making his way to a total of twenty-six events during the 2015 campaign, Chandler Petty picked up five top five finishes. With the rain determining the outcome of twelve of his scheduled dates, Chandler recorded sixteen top ten finishes on the season. He also finished eighth in the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) points standings.

Competing in a total of 25 events throughout the 2016 season, Chandler Petty reeled in 13 Top 10 finishes. With the weather affecting nine of his scheduled dates, Petty posted four Top 5 outings.
