1August 16th, 2014 - Chandler Petty took part in the 22nd Annual COMP Cams Topless 100 presented by Crop Production Services at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas) over the weekend.

The $40,000-to-win crown-jewel, which was sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and the Lucas Oil presents the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), drew a talented field of sixty-three Super Late Models to the 3/8 mile oval.

Friday night saw preliminary action contested for the 100 lap main event. Unfortunately mechanical issues in his heat race saw Chandler fail to reach a transfer position, and left him starting deep in a b-main on Saturday.

Despite starting last in the b-main, Petty climbed through the field to a seventh place finish. However, only the top two finishers moved on to the feature as his weekend came to an early end.
